📚 Real-Life Case Study: Fixing Sleep as a Keystone Habit

Client Context:
High-achieving founder, diagnosed bipolar II, exhausted, working 60+ hrs/week, sleeping erratically.
Goal: Sleep stability → improved mood + clearer thinking

What We Did:

  • Mapped the issue: Screens until midnight, nightmares, early waking, caffeine on wake-up
  • Designed the environment: Blackout curtains, warm lighting, cooling fan
  • Created new routines: Journaling, music wind-down, fallback plan for 3am wake-up, morning sunlight walk
  • Tracked & Adjusted: Audio notes, removed alcohol, swapped beer for herbal tea
  • Expanded to other areas: Regular meals, protein in AM, daily light, no calls after 7pm

🗓️ Month-by-Month

Weekly Private Check-Ins (60 min)

We meet 1x/week for 1 hour. We adjust the plan, solve problems, track mood and habits. Optional support in between: Secure text message access (Mon–Fri, daytime) Audio feedback (you send 2-min voice notes, I reply same day)

Month 1 – Understand & Stabilize

Map your reality, involve your people, build trust, and stop the spiral.

Month 2 – Build the Routines

Focus on 2–3 areas. Implement, test, refine. Get your life working *with* your brain.

Month 3 – Expand & Personalize

Solidify wins, go deeper, add new zones (food, creativity, social energy).

Month 4+ – Maintain or Scale

Adjust intensity, reinforce your foundation, explore new challenges.
