How HopeStage turns SafeTalk responses into publishable findings
The method is designed to make every number traceable while preventing publication of an individual response or small group.
Population and unit of analysis
One row represents one completed SafeTalk submission. The report describes only people who gave separate SafeTalk Insights consent. It does not represent every worker or every person experiencing a mental health difficulty.
Inclusion criteria
SafeTalk source, data version 5 or later, explicit timestamped Insights consent, recorded consent version, participant submission, and allowlisted structured fields.
Exclusions
Responses collected before dedicated consent, tests, technical errors, emails, identifiers, free text, employer details, small subgroups, and any row whose status cannot be verified.
Calculation and suppression
Every result shows a count, denominator, and percentage rounded to one decimal place. A category with fewer than 10 people is suppressed. Multiple-choice questions may sum to more than 100%.
Interpretation
Findings describe the SafeTalk sample during a defined period. They suggest questions and needs to explore without establishing causality or supporting national generalisation.
