This study is looking at whether The intervention is nicardipine or placebo can help people with Mood instability, which is a feature of bipolarity and other mental health conditions including borderline personality disorder, but can also occur in the absence of any diagnosis or Mental and Behavioural Disorders. Participants receive a study treatment and complete follow-up visits and assessments. Some participants may receive placebo instead of the study treatment, and direct benefit is not guaranteed.
