How HopeStage uses public registry data

HopeStage starts from public clinical trial registry records, keeps links to official sources, and rewrites key details in clearer language. The platform helps people search and understand studies, but the official registry and research team remain the reference for criteria, locations, risks, contacts, and eligibility.

A starting point, not a medical decision

The platform helps people find studies that may be relevant to explore. It does not replace medical advice, recommend treatment, or decide eligibility.

Information from public registries

Each study page is based on official public sources such as ClinicalTrials.gov when available. HopeStage links back to those sources so people can verify status, criteria, locations, and contacts.

Search designed for people with lived experience

You can search by condition, country, recruitment status, age, study type, sponsor, or keyword. The goal is to help you prepare better questions for your care team or the research team.

Our sources and methods

HopeStage was founded by Clément Baissat, who shares his lived experience of bipolarity. Our guides aim to make research easier to understand. Lived experience informs our questions; it does not replace clinical expertise.

Each study retains its identifier and official registry link. Our catalogue does not cover every study, registry or country.
The registry update date and HopeStage source-check date are separate. Publishing the website again does not mean every source was checked again.
Source checks produce a change report. Failed checks remain visible in our internal reports and do not receive a new verification date. Changes are validated before publication.
French titles and summaries are adaptations. The official title and detailed registry criteria remain the reference. Individual clinical review is only claimed when explicitly attributed.

No. Only the research team can confirm eligibility after checking the official study criteria.
