This study is looking at whether Weekly group interpersonal psychotherapy for 16 weeks versus treatment as usual can help people with Major and minor depression as defined by DSM-IV diagnostic criteria, Mental and Behavioural Disorders, or Depression. Participants take part in Weekly group interpersonal psychotherapy for 16 weeks versus treatment as usual and complete follow-up assessments. Taking part may give some people access to Weekly group interpersonal psychotherapy for 16 weeks versus treatment as usual, but direct benefit is not guaranteed.
